The baby octopus with soy sauce was light and soft — I've never had octopus done this well at a hawker place. The fried chicken wings were crispy and yummy too. Fish noodles had a unique texture that really surprised me. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Ipoh!

A true Ipoh institution. We drove two hours just to eat here and it was absolutely worth it. The Yu Kong Hor is the best fish noodle soup I've ever had — the broth is so clear and clean, and the homemade fish balls are tender and bouncy. The atmosphere is old-school in the best possible way. Come early or expect to wait!

Good food, good price — what more can you ask for? The char kway teow had great wok hei and the portions are generous. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the wait can be a bit long during peak hours. Overall still one of the best places to eat in Ipoh, no question.

Grew up eating here and it still tastes exactly the same after all these years. That's the real magic of Tuck Kee. My kids love the smooth egg noodles and I always get the squid — absolutely incredible every single time. This place is part of Ipoh's soul. Support it while you can!

Food is solid and the prices are fair. Came on a Saturday evening and the wait was about 30 minutes. The outdoor seating gets a bit warm but the food makes up for it. Fish balls are genuinely hand-made — you can tell the difference immediately. Would come back for a weekday lunch visit.

Visited during my Ipoh trip and this was the highlight. The chicken wings are to die for — I ordered two portions. The soup base for the noodles is incredibly rich and flavourful. Staff are friendly and efficient even when super busy. If you're visiting Ipoh and you skip Tuck Kee, you've made a terrible mistake.
